I have one and I like it. I also have the D4Mini and the BlueSpot with a dualband DVMega attached. I think the interface of the OpenSpot is the best and I find it very clean and usable. It also does some cross-mode which the others don't do, such as allowing a Fusion (C4FM) radio to be used on DMR. It also has the ability to join a private SharfRF server to build out your own little comms network. I have SharkRF running on a VMWare VM and available publicly.

One thing it doesn't currently do, is send the wake up packet to a repeater. So you can't use it with a DMR repeater by reversing your TX/RX pair like you can with the other solutions.

The only downside is that there is no easy way to see what IP address the unit has. So if you travel with the unit, that can be difficult, but not impossible, to work around. Both the DV4Mini (assuming you're not running headless) and the BlueSpot make it easy by viewing their GUI's.

Does that help? If you're looking for more specifics, let me know.
