Wasn't sure if this was a Waris or Jedi question, I thought the HT1000's were sort of along the Jedi line.
I have a UHF unit that programs up fine and works except I get a low battery alert and then the radio refuses to receive or TX.
I can change the battery out with a newly charged and still same results.
I had some Astro Saber's that acted up like that and all I did was remove the radio from it's case, cleaned the contacts on the bottom and they worked fine again. No clue as to why it resolved it, only think the contacts were oxidized?
Any ideas on the HT acting up?

Re: HT1000 Issue
The whole line was prone to corrosion. I would disassemble the unit scrape clear the board contact points on both the RF, Logic and the cast pack plate. Do the same for the thinner flex plate. the board inteconnect if its a plug in flex peice unplug and rinsert a few times if its the soldered point type then just resolder the points. Re assemble the unit. last clean the on/off switch contacts by scraping them at the contact point.
put all back together and all should be good. FYI try to on off first.
