Nobody posted the actual file. There's a link to the manual in a previous entry. Just scroll up...

Re: P25NX Help

Yeah... If you’re thinking about adding a machine to the network, I’d encourage it. The more it grows, the better it’ll be. And, unlike DMR and the other networked systems that anyone can get on with a shit cheap radio... At least this system requires some decent tech knowledge and a good quality Mo...

Re: P25NX Help

It’s more active than some local repeaters in my major metro area.

And more of technical discussions and not the usual “I’m sitting in shitty traffic” banter.

Or someone sending out a call sign and then having to go...

It’s real. It’s decent ham radio.

Re: Ham radio modes and gripes...

Ham band VHF/UHF, TRBO, DMR-MARC, Brandmeister, and the rest have just gone the way of absolute garbage. I've sold off all my TRBO radios. When I saw what it was becoming, I knew I was getting out. I've now found interest in the P25NX/Quantar Site Connect network - which is interesting, because it r...

Re: Quick Call II question

Those setting sound right. Just a thought to really make you groan. Some paging encoders dont encode the exact tone. it is possible though rare for the actual tone sent to be off enough for the radio not to decode it. We can cheak that later if necessary. I love a challenge. I posted a video in the...

Re: Quick Call II question

you might be able to just hit or hit and hold for a second the monitor button if there is one. We dont want to change the settings too much otherwise we might loose track of the actual cause of your trouble. Ok. I just meant change the settings I had switched a couple posts up. I changed the system...

Re: Quick Call II question

Just to clarify, because there may be some confusion. The system pretime needs to be set on the radio that was sending the tones - the radio you were testing with. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that. Also - maybe during your nightly pager test, you could make a video and post it? I'd like to hear what ...

Re: Quick Call II question

Notarola is right on several points. A - Most repeaters distort the tones if sent via the input. B - Most systems send tones on the output transmitter, not via the "repeater" (meaning they don't send them on the input and let the system re-transmit them). C - When testing via a repeater, it is usua...

Re: IFR 1600, Aeroflex 1600 information

Does anyone use the Above mentioned service monitor? I just received one and have a few questions if anyone is available? I upgraded from a Macroni 2955 and can't figure a few functions out that I must be missing. Thanks, I used one for years - but sold it. I can probably answer your question. Plea...
